#2- love the clothes- especially those Glitter Shorts!! They're the perfect blend of girly and sporty,
don't you think?? and all the cardigans look so comfy cozy.

weekend.

Photobucket

hey friends!

hope you had a good week- this week was kinda crazy for me- but it was overall a good one.

right now I'm up north staying in my home town for the weekend, and it is so nice up here.
the air is so much more fresh and clean than it is in LA.

the great thing about freelancing is you can work from your laptop, and you can take that thing anywhere! so it gives me freedom to get away from time to time. my husband doesn't have that same luxury, and last night was our first night away from each other since being married! miss him already...
(please excuse the lovey dovey)

here are a few fun links I found this week, thought you might like :)

these girls have such fun, awesome style.

this flickr page has some random stuff, but it is so cool.

a yummy LA breakfast food guide. (whose with me to try them ALL??)

some very cool thanksgiving place cards. (thanksgiving is less than 2 weeks away- holy moly
i need to start making pies)

and las but not least this blog has great interior design inspiration. i've been looking here for
ideas on how to make my new desk look cool.

have a GREAT weekend friends. i'm going to go enjoy the crisp fall air, drink some coffee
and eat a breakfast burrito.

Knits and Buns

I could live in a variation of this outfit every day over fall. Infact, that's kinda what I do...
The cozy warmth of a chunky knit scarf and the ease of a high messy bun are just too hard to resist!

Gardens and Fall

A little dream of mine has always been to have a garden full of vegetables, spices and fruits
growing in our backyard. There's just something about getting fresh fruits and veggies that
makes them taste extra good. We just moved into our house in August, and seeing as I've never
really gardened, I started growing some spices in mason jars at our house.

Those have turned out pretty well- I was really excited that I didn't somehow kill them,
because the few times I've tried to keep plants alive, it hasn't worked out too well...
So now I'm thinking I might be ready to move into our backyard and do some gardening.
These lovely photos from Cannelle et Vanille are inspiring me to get going. So maybe next fall
we could pick out items from our garden and cook with them. I can taste the freshness now...

These photos are so fall. I love that. The colors on the trees here don't change much, but with the
slight chill in the air and the lowering of the sun, you can still feel it in the air.

Have an amazing weekend everyone- hope its the best!

Fall is so great

I came really close to not posting today. I mean its already Saturday afternoon. A little late
to wish you a happy weekend.

But I had a pumpkin spice latte in a coffee shop today, and just really had the urge to post a
fall-honoring photo.

This weekend we're procrastinating more on this project we were supposed to do a while back...
and going to a UCLA football game tonight! I'm not much of a football fan, I'm just excited for the
tailgate party, food, and the overall fall ambiance football games hold.

I also have some really fun things that I've been working on lately, and I'm oober excited for next
week to share them with you. Its about this little thing called "Waterfall Creative". Woot woot!
So I'll be working on that and maybe be baking some cookies.

Hope you all have a good weekend, even though I realize it's already half way over...
But ya gotta enjoy it! Happy fall and Happy Weekend! Yay!

Pink Cupcake Pumpkins and Treats!

Happy Fall everyone! I made this little illustration as a treat for you to bring a bit of brightness to
this lovely fall day. Because that's what Pink Pumpkins do. They bring happiness and joy.
I also made it to remind you to bake some treats. Because thats what you do this
season, am I right?

You can get your own by clicking here ---> Happy Fall

Its pretty crazy that it's already fall- I had a wonderful summer, but I'm very excited for the fall.
I can't wait to carve pumpkins, (I might just have to try carving a cupcake in one...) and drink
a pumpkin spice latte. I have this thing where I can't drink a pumpkin spice latte until the day is just
fall enough. Its been too hot here in LA to get one yet, so I'm waiting for the perfect day.

Anyways, happy fall and happy Wednesday!

So about to eat this

This is totally baking in the oven right now. Homemade banana bread.

Its making my stomach grooowwl...!

This is my favorite banana bread recipe right here. Perfect for when those bananas start to get a
bit too ripe to eat. And when the weather finally cools a bit and you get the urge to bake and
feel all "fallish." Totally me today :)
