It's that time again...

Photobucket

Weekend! I thought I'd get outside the computer and write you a happy weekend note on my chalkboard today, instead of using my tablet like usual. Feels good to switch it up every now and again.

Incase you missed it, this week on the blog I did a tutorial on using your tablet to add hand-written words to your blog posts. I also did a little DIY post over on Kelli Murray explaining how to send your far away friends a coffee care package!

So... I'm getting ready to launch a new website pretty soon here- and I need some good pics of myself. (That sounds weird, but in this internet world where you don't see people face to face, I think good photos are key!) I'm so excited to do a little photo shoot with Kristin Rogers this weekend! (She's the one I blogged about here) I'm also nervos, I hate getting my picture taken, and yet, it's so much fun to dress up and be pretty for the day. I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing 3-day weekend friends.

Enjoy it!!

new work space!

So yesterday, it was cold and rainy outside. Nolan and I went to church, then I spent the
rest of the afternoon at the Creative Connection meet up in LA. (so great btdubs)
I get home, and Nolan is working away in the freezing cold garage, making me this!

I am so grateful to have a husband who cares about me and my work enough to make me a nice,
big working space. Since moving and starting my own graphic design business, I've been setting up
shop at our dining room table. This isn't good for anyone! So now, I have this nice, big space
all to myself! Goodbye dining room table! I can't wait to decorate it, and make it an inspiring place
for me to work.

Yesterday at CCLA, Erin from Well in LA talked about how important it is as a creative working
from home to have a separate space for work. I couldn't agree more. I already feel more productive!

I'll keep you updated on how the decorating goes, cause as you can see, at the moment it is pretty
bare- but I was so excited I just had to show you guys. I do have my trusty chalkboard of course-
can you be addicted to chalkboard paint? Cause I've almost painted everything in our house...

Have a happy Monday everyone!!
