Off Switch Magazine Illustration

I wanted to show you guys a little illustration I did for Off Switch Magazine V3- which is now out in print and available for order!

My illustration was for a story by Meg Fee about her move to Brooklyn, NY.

I don't get a ton of opportunities to do illustration, so when Katie from Off Switch came to me asking if I would be available, I jumped at the chance!

You can preview the magazine here and order it here :)

Happy Monday everyone!

Thursday Morning Inspiration.

I just love everything about these prints.
Patterns, color, texture, it's all there.
That zebra one would look great on a studio wall- don't you think?

I am in love with these bear prints. How adorable is EACH one? Its like that little panda with
the bow tie is looking at me and telling me something- not sure what but it's super cute.

If you're like me and looking for some last minute Christmas presents, check out Society6.
It's full of awesome, affordable art prints- I think you could find something for anyone here.
I mean, it's where I fell in love with these bears, so it's gotta be good.
And art always makes for a good gift in my opinion.

Hope you guys are having a good week before Christmas!
This month has FLOWN by. I can't believe Christmas is THIS WEEKEND!!
I'm trying to finish work up today and tomorrow so I can be relaxing Christmas style
the rest of the week with my fam.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Guess what?! I FINALLY printed out our wedding pics!
I'm so excited to frame these babies this weekend.
The walls in our house are pretty bare, their needing some photo love.
Looking at these photos is so much fun, it just brings me back to that amazing day.

Christmas last year was really special for Nolan and I.
Christmas Eve 2010 was when Nolan proposed :) we went from being boyfriend and girlfriend to fiances!
Now look at us- we're husband and wife.  Its amazing how time flies.
I feel like I say that much more as I get older...

Have an amazing weekend and continue to soak up the holiday season!
I hope you are all finished with finals and such, and you are able to spend the next few weeks relaxing and drinking hot chocolate. Happy Weekend friends!! Eat some cookies!

A little print I made showing what I'm trying to do.

Why is something so simple so complex at the same time??

Yup. Thats exactly what this is. I was playing around with texture and contrasting colors-
this was the result.

I think I like it. Simple with some flare.
