Bridal Shower Graphics

It's always fun for me to do projects like this one. A fiesta themed bridal shower put on by Jill Shah at Jordan Event Studio. The bride is half Mexican, so a shower with guacamole, horchata and sangria was the way to go. We wanted the graphics to be colorful and fun, adding to the vibe of the shower.

My favorite thing to design was this custom Papel Picado banner that was used in various places throughout the shower. I've never done something like that before and I was so happy with how it turned out!

Now I'm so craving Mexican food... The shower is featured on Modernly Wed today- you can check out the post here!

Here's the list of the people who made the shower come to life:

Photographer: Snaps and Scribbles
Event Planner: Jordan Event Studio
Reception Venue: The Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey
Banner Design: Waterfall Creative
Florist: Floracopia

Found.

I stumbled upon this shop today and fell in love.

Everything handmade. Carved wood. Simple photos. Amazing styling.

Genuine goodness.

Herriot Grace you have won me over.

Some pieces of cakes.

I came across these sweet little paintings on 20x200. The colors paired with the tasty
subject matter really make me love this. What's even cooler is the paintings are painted on book
pages from an old cookbook! She keeps some words uncovered by the paint and in and circles them.
I really would love to get one of these for our kitchen, dining room, or even bedroom... hmmmm...

Here is a video on the artist and her work- its always inspiring to see the person behind the work
and the process it took to get their body of work.

Find more of this artist here.

So now I'm really hungry and I'm thinking its time for a snack... preferably some cake...
