A little bit of flava

I'm so into homey things these days- and I keep finding all these amazing salt and pepper shakers!
I feel like unless you have a cool collection of sorts, its kinda overkill to have a ton of salt and pepper
shakers, am I right? But that really is too bad because there are so many cool ones out there.

So I had to post an inspiration board full of all these fun shakers I'm finding, if I can't have them all,
might as well be able to share them with you so maybe you can enjoy them!

Here's where each of these little guys is from- just click on their number and be magically taken to where
they're from!

As I'm brainstorming about decorating Nolan and I's new apartment, I came across these wonderful
wall ideas! Who wants to simply paint their walls when you could create your own architecture with sharpie??
Too cool for school. You could also do these textured wall stripes or put dictionary pages all over.

The how-to for these as well as a few other fun ideas are over here. So fun!

I really want to do the sharpie thing... I wonder if Nolan would let me....

Invitation to a Lovely Wedding

Remember this little lady who just got married in Portland? Well I thought I'd share with you one more part of the wedding I had the pleasure of being apart of - designing their wedding invites!

Here's a little behind the scenes look at how Grace and Josh's invite was born into the world:

Photobucket

After getting inspired and sketching out the invites, I brought those tiny sketches into the computer, did a little paint-y paint in Photoshop, and...

The finished product. Complete with a goose (Grace's long time nickname) a deer, (representing Josh) a woodsy forest scene, add one map and RSVP card and wallah! The invite is born!

I know I've already done a blog post on Grace and Josh's wedding, but I have to give one more congrats to the couple, being as this post was all about their invites. So congrats again to the wonderful couple!

Yay marriage!
