new work space!

So yesterday, it was cold and rainy outside. Nolan and I went to church, then I spent the
rest of the afternoon at the Creative Connection meet up in LA. (so great btdubs)
I get home, and Nolan is working away in the freezing cold garage, making me this!

I am so grateful to have a husband who cares about me and my work enough to make me a nice,
big working space. Since moving and starting my own graphic design business, I've been setting up
shop at our dining room table. This isn't good for anyone! So now, I have this nice, big space
all to myself! Goodbye dining room table! I can't wait to decorate it, and make it an inspiring place
for me to work.

Yesterday at CCLA, Erin from Well in LA talked about how important it is as a creative working
from home to have a separate space for work. I couldn't agree more. I already feel more productive!

I'll keep you updated on how the decorating goes, cause as you can see, at the moment it is pretty
bare- but I was so excited I just had to show you guys. I do have my trusty chalkboard of course-
can you be addicted to chalkboard paint? Cause I've almost painted everything in our house...

Have a happy Monday everyone!!

I love chalkboard paint. It is so fun to decorate the seasons with it. Snow! Boom! Dead tree's! Boom! Loud explosions? BOOM!

You are too sweet! I love your space, especially the chalkboard paint. I have a nook with glass and use dry-erase markers to make notes all over it + corkboard on one of my walls to tack all of my favorite things. Cheers to you as you make your space & your day your very own!

Erin's talk yesterday inspired me too! Started to look into better desk chairs the moment I got home. Nice meeting you, btw and I hope the rest of your decorating goes well!

So cute! Does that paint come in different colors? And is that blue? It looks like a blue color.

It was great meeting you too Rebecca! Great chairs are so important, I'm on the hunt too- let me know if you find a good one! And Teri, it comes in a few different shades, this one is black but it does look blue on the comp! They sell it at Ace or Home Depot :)
