Girl Crush Blog Live

I recently had the pleasure of designing the new blog site for Wendy Withers of Girl Crush! Wendy is art producer turned mommy, turned blogger. I met Wendy when I interned for Blogshop LA.

Wendy already had a blog and logo, but she has recently been featured in Joy Cho's new book Blog, Inc. (so exciting!) and wanted to give her blog a little facelift.

So here it is! Check it out, she's got a ton of great content on there. She interviews women all over the world who are doing amazing things. (Women who are Girl Crush worthy!) It's inspiring to read! And congrats Wendy on your feature in Blog, Inc! It was awesome working with you!

Caroline Ro

We recently finished the branding (logo, business cards & website) for the amazingly talented / sweet / humble photographer, Caroline Howard. I had a blast, I mean seriously, a great time working with Caroline. Her emails always made me laugh, our Skype dates were a constant good time (her cat loves to get all up on the comp) And although she lives in South Carolina, we were able to really get to know each other, which is what I love.

Not only is Caroline talented, but she uses her talents to help people in need. She donates $500 for every wedding package booked to a cause she believes in. $500! How cool is that? You can check out her Cause page for more details.

Some Recent Projects!

Good morning friends! I hope you're day has been dandy so far.

I wanted to share with you one of my most recent projects, a blog design for the San Luis Obispo Classical Academy (they call it SLOCA). This is one school that is pretty cool in my opinion.

The kids there are home-schooled half the week, and meet together in a classroom for the other half.

They say. "Our blog is meant to support and encourage on the home front because in so many ways, the heart of what happens at SLO Classical Academy happens down home. "  Love it!

The amazing Joy Newman writes for their blog. She fills it writing about lessons the students are learning, personal stories from the families, even yummy recipes!

It was a blast to work on this project- we gave it a homey feel, with subdued green colors to represent growth.
