Goodbye Cam.

After years of countless road trips, crazy commutes, numerous parking tickets, thousands of coffee spills, a Chinese fire drill here and there, many kisses at stop signs and tons of other memories- I'm finally saying goodbye to my '91 Toyota Camry. It broke down on me a few times last week, and it's not being brought back.

This car was the BEST. It ended it's life having driven a good 310,000 miles. Yup. 310,000. My goal was to get it to 400... I kinda drive- A LOT- which is why I'm so sad to let this guy go! I'm getting a new car this week and am excited to have something nice, but I can't help but feel emotional about not having my Camry anymore! I know it's kinda weird, but I feel this odd connection to my car- I mean, I've spent a ton of time in this thing!

These are some pics I took a few years ago while I was driving up to Sacramento. It was a beautiful day after the rain, and I had to pull over and capture the 5 freeway on one of it's best days. And yes, my brother and I spray painted those birds on the side. I loved them.

So goodbye Cam! Thanks for the memories and getting me through 310,000 miles.

11/9/11

not too early!

There are so many things I wanted to blog about from this site. The first thing being these
chalkboard garden labels! (They would be perfect for the spices I have growing in jars on our
window sill)

But then there were these little faces that kept catching my eye in the sea of goodness...
And I couldn't help but show you guys the cutest ornaments ever known.

I know we haven't had Thanksgiving yet, but to me, the only thing fun about the cold and
rain is that you get to bake and play Christmas music! Without it its just cold and rainy-
add Christmas stuff and it gets warm and cozy!

So here's some Christmas cuteness to "warm up and cozy" your Wednesday!

You can check out all kinds of wonderfuls- including more ornaments here.

Maybe you could even get really risky and play some Christmas music.
You know I'll be doing it.

Happy Wednesday friends!

What do you do when your getting ready to move? Page through old sketchbooks of course!

I found some of these guys as I was looking at my old sketchbooks and thought I would share them
with you. I think I like them because each of these inspired me to expand on the sketch and make a bigger piece.
Its always fun to go back and be inspired by where you've been and what you've done in your past.
