I'd guess ...Succulents are great! So are herbs. I'd guess if you plant some herbs outside, in a little garden (raised bed, or in the ground), they'd do great. I have a few tomato plants that I don't have room for. You can have one or two if you want. Plant them beside some basil (companion planting), and they could do well. (I also have basil seeds, if you want some, or even some seedlings.) Other things that I've found easier to successfully grow here in LA: green beans, potatoes, kale, parsley, mint...
